Since an early age, I have always enjoyed the gym, and was self-taught with “ok” results.
I was never really sure if I was exercising to my full potential. My husband and I started working with Paul back in 2010 and we were blown away with his skill and knowledge.
I had always known why I was at the gym but Paul showed me the what and how. Paul is more than a PT, - he knows what exercises to do, and the techniques but most importantly his extensive knowledge of the human body is mind blowing.
He didn’t just tell me what to do but taught me the ideal diet, how to train for greater effectiveness, and know how my body would react. Paul doesn’t just talk the talk but walks the walk as well. He lives and breathes his words and actions.
Paul is very reassuring whilst constantly holding me accountable to myself. I stuck to Paul’s programme where previously I would have quit. No words to say how much I love working with Paul and how much I respect him both as a trainer but a friend. I love my results!
With Paul’s support and encouragement I realised I could take my fitness to the next level. For me, that was an INBA Physique competition. With a measurable, achievable and realistic diet and exercise programme specific to my body type, Paul had calculated my ideal weight at a target fat percentage and had me on the stage right on target 14 weeks later. Paul also taught me the posing techniques, guided me through the final week preparations, and supported me on the day of the competition. It was my first ever competition and at the age of 42 I was realising a long-held goal. I went home with a trophy and was also qualified for the Australian Titles the following week.
My goal is to get back on the stage next early next year and I will only be doing it with Paul’s coaching and guidance. He really is a standout in this industry, and definitely one of the good guys.
